Tasting New Fruits

Tasting New Fruits Location - my house Date - June 24, 2025 Fruit #1: Kiwi I tried kiwi for the first time today. I bought one from Publix. They all looked the same to me, and I don't know how to pick a ripe kiwi, so I picked one from the display almost at random. I washed it and then sliced it. I decided to eat it with the skin on (the internet said it was fine to eat it with or without the skin). It was pretty good. A bit more acidic/tart than I expected, and it certainly had an interesting texture (from the skin, I think). However, I did enjoy it overall. It kind of tasted like the combination of a strawberry and a pear. Kiwis are the most prominent fruit from their family, Actinidiaceae, and are classified as berries.
